By August 4, 2017WTT News

WTT is proud to announce that it has received a new order from SOILCO Pty Ltd .

The project requires WTT to engineer and supply a turn-key static aeration composting system for the SOILCO’s facility at Wogamia, 2 hours south of Sydney, NSW Australia.

A 3.600 m2 concrete pavement will be arranged with 12 sets of aeration pipes connected to two fresh air supply fan’s. The system will be controlled from a technical area contained within an prefabricated shipping container to be designed and delivered by WTT. Each aeration bay has dedicated probes for wireless, real time monitoring of temperature to ensure each batch is compliant with relevant Australian Standard and EPA requirements. The process computer allows the operator to visually manage system settings and produce specified batch reports.  The WTT SCADA system also provides remote access for offsite monitoring and maintenance.

When completed the aeration system will provide an increased process efficiency and enable SOILCO to reduce its current composting footprint from approximately 15,000m2 to 5.000m2!

Wogamia will be WTT’s 2nd project for SOILCO following commissioning in January 2016 of an in vessel air, water and process control system at the company’s recycling facility in Kembla Grange, NSW Australia. Clients returning to WTT for new projects is the biggest complement we can get and WTT is looking forward to a long-lasting, successful business relationship.
